Tomorrow night is the second UFC on Versus event. It's being held in the San Diego Sports Arena. The event is headlined by Jon "Bones" Jones taking on Vladimir "The Janitor" Matyushenko. If you have never seen "Bones" fight, then you're missing out on some great MMA action.

The kid is only 23 years old and holds wins over the likes of Stephan Bonnar, Jake O'brien, and most recently Brandon Vera. I suspect that is the match that most casual fans have seen of his or have heard about. Jones took Vera down and started working some vicious ground and pound on Vera, until he landed an elbow that broke Vera's orbital bone. His win over Bonnar was a one-sided beat down, and even though he lost his fight against Hamill (due to a DQ) his performance in that fight was phenomenal. He took down Hamill, mounted him right away, and started dropping some vicious elbows. Unfortunately, they illegal 6 to 12 elbows and Jones suffered his first career loss.

Tomorrow night should be interesting and answer a lot of questions about the up-and-coming young lion in Jon Jones. The hype for this kid is insane, people are already calling him a future champion. I tend to agree for the most part, he really does show signs of great success and I predict his career in the near-future will be full of fights with the elites at 205 (Shogun, Machida, Rampage, Lil Nog, etc.).

Jon Jones vs. Valdimir is going to be fun to watch just in the sense that such a young fighter is taking on such a seasoned vet like Matyushenko. If "Bones" rises to the occasion, and manages to dish out a beating like he has to all of his previous opponents to such a tough, respected competitor tomorrow night, then the hype for him will be through the roof.

If you're an MMA fan, you can't miss this event! Many of the other match-ups are also intriguing, should be a night of fire works.
