Lyoto Machida is officially scheduled to fight Quinton "Rampage" Jackson at UFC 122 in Germany. He's returning back to the octagon since suffering his first loss in May to the hands of the current light heavy weight champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. The interesting thing is, that Rampage Jackson is also coming off of a loss. However, unlike Lyoto, Rampage is not a stranger to losing.
It's going to be intriguing to see how Machida comes back mentally after losing for the first time, and in such quick, brutal fashion. If he comes back mentally composed, I think he can take an easy unanimous decision in the fight. However, if he looks shook and gun shy as some fighters do when they get KO'd for the first time, I can see Rampage pulling the upset. Although he didn't look all that good in his bout against, he still posses some scary power in his hands. he fight will probably look similar to Ortiz/Machida, with Quinton getting frustrated at not being able to keep up with his speed. I'll post my prediction of the fight as the time draws near, because right now I'm a bit torn, but leaning towards Machida taking it easily.
